Our next batty season is fast approaching and we’re excited to get some of community workshops going again.
Come along to our free community workshop and learn how to monitor bat activity right on your property. We’ll show you how to use Automatic Bat Monitors (ABMs) to detect pekapeka, including how to deploy the recorders, capture acoustic data, and make sense of what you’ve recorded.
Whether you’re a keen conservationist, a curious landowner, or just want to know who’s flying around after dark, this hands-on session will give you the skills and confidence to start listening in.
No experience needed, just bring your curiosity.
